I watched a video in bed this morning from AJ+ that is an incredible indictment of the Biden admin and the US media in their culpability for the genocide in Gaza. I think more and more people are getting comfortable with the use of the word 'genocide' to describe what is happening in Gaza. Those who don't like the word, though, likely scroll right past anything that uses it. This makes it challenging to reach people.

The war machine, the bankers... that is the nonsensical hell we are in. The guaranteed revenue from our tax dollars, need to keep scaring people into fighting these false demons, justify the sacrifices already made (folks who joined the military for what they thought were higher causes), the jobs in the weapons factories, the pay-off to the politicians who will keep the revenue flowing, the endless fabricated financial crises... I have no doubt you'll have plenty to say on all this, adding your own reflections from your own life's observations. Yannis connects the patterns in Europe to what is happening in Michigan...
Klein's speech was great, thanks again. Yanis is one of the only economists I trust, so looking forward to checking that out too! I was completely consumed by anti-capitalist/pro-socialist content for the three years prior to October 7th so I will definitely have a lot more to say about these things as time goes on.
